In Clojure, ->> is the Winchester and -> is Whistler’s mother.

Here is a picture of Whistler’s mother with a Winchester: (-> (->> ...))

“Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky.
“I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes.

“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Walton is a work in progress. It provides battle-tested examples of clojure code from the clojure irc channel. You can view the results via your browser by accessing: http://getclojure.org:8080/examples/text (temporarily). Just replace ‘text’ with whatever function you’re interested in seeing some examples for, and voila.

Syntax highlighting, filtering options, and some other pleasantries are forthcoming. Hope it helps. Oh, and as always, contributions are welcome.

Probably not the most exciting thing you could do with Clojure, but after working through some of the details I thought I’d share an initial implementation, and then update over the next few days with how I’ve improved performance.

I lied. It’s been a week. I have code, just no write up…yet! Stay tuned.
